These are exciting times for the Pantages Playhouse Theatre. The Theatre is currently being managed by The Performing Arts Consortium [PAC] with the intent of restoring the Theatre to its original greatness. Not only this, PAC is committed to expand the theatre building so as to make it even more of a center for arts and entertainment for the city of Winnipeg.
This is a major upgrade and renovation project which would see a combination of office space, retail space, dining facilities, dramatic professional rehearsal space, evolving the Pantages Playhouse into much more than a theatre but a center for all kinds of functions requiring meeting space, theatre space and dining facilities all in one gorgeous location.
