The Pantages Playhouse is an elegant, lyric theatre built at the height of the Vaudeville era. It has provided the setting for countless community productions ranging from high school and university glee club musicals, amateur productions, festivals, and dance recitals, to professional productions and performances of local, national, and internationally acclaimed artists. Most Winnipeg performers (and many of the city's citizens) have graced the stage of the Pantages - whether in the pursuit of their careers, or for the pleasure of performing for the community.
