The Pantages Playhouse is an elegant, lyric theatre built at the height of the Vaudeville era.  It has provided the setting for countless community productions ranging from high school and university glee club musicals, amateur productions, festivals, and dance recitals, to professional productions and performances of local, national, and internationally acclaimed artists.  Most Winnipeg performers (and many of the city’s citizens) have graced the stage of the Pantages - whether in the pursuit of their careers, or for the pleasure of performing for the community.

At the heart of our facility is the 1913-built Mainstage.  The Pantages Playhouse is proscenium theatre with fly system that seats 1475 patrons.

Other spaces include the multi-purpose Korol Studio, the new lobby and outdoor plazas.

Our office can send most of our rental information to you via email.  We use three formats for our documentation:

• PDF.  To download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free, click here.
• Microsoft Word.
• Booking-specific information may also be provided in Microsoft Access report 'snapshots'.  These can be viewed using Microsoft Access Snapshot Viewer.  To download it for free, click here.  Please note that this is an executable file that will install MS Access Snapshot Viewer onto your computer.  Requires a Microsoft Windows operating system.
